Looking really good. To mark the difficult trails put two oval color labels on them?

green/orange/motor/ maybe red too

Just a thought

The "Clearing" trail is known as "Meadow Trail"

Nice work Spilth,It looks like a trail is missing from map, above the "pit" to the left another trail drops down closer to the Taconic.

How about:
- Circle = Easy / Beginner
- Square = Medium / Advanced
- Triangle = Hard / Expert

Nice work on the map. I think DD wanted to leave green trail (Vinny's Left Collarbone) off the map.

The big blue loop trail is known (to some) as Deadhorse. Think that was the old name of GH.

We need names for some of the other trails.

I'm going to give David a call today to discuss the map.

I added numbers to the intersections throughout the map, like the Blue Mountain map has, if only to help facilitate talking about the map here. This way you guys can tell me things like "the section between 18 and 19 is called "Charlie's Pillbox" or provide corrections.

You can get a big version here: http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2311/451 ... 828c_o.png

Great job and thanks for taking the reigns! between 13&15 is "Meadow" not "clearing"

Does this mean that I should make the effort to convert my Blue GPX into an updated Blue map?

I was actually copying a different version of this excellent map of Blue:

For now I'm just signing up to do Graham Hills since that's where I ride the most and want to give back to that park.

Here's the latest update (version 9) of the map.

I talked to David today and he's going to get me official trail names and which streets he wants labeled for access to the peak. Any fixes/suggestions you guys make will need to be approved by him for it to go on the official map.

Updates:
- "Clearing" is now labeled "Meadow"
- Removed "Motorcycle" per David
- Re-numbered intersections to deal with missing/removing intersections
- Using ovals for "Advanced" level trails and Triangles for "Expert" level trails
- Added WMBA logo - Who can officially give me permission to put this on the map?

Notes/Questions
- For the trail above/left of the Pit, does anybody have GPS data for this? I want to be somewhat true to the trail, rather than just drawing something random :-) If not, I'm hoping to get out to Graham on Thursday afternoon/evening to check it out myself.
- Is Meadow (now 14-16) different from the Boyscout Trail?
- Is there any parking allowed at the Marble Ave (28) entrance?

Also, thanks to all the thanks you've been given. And I should give thanks to Bikezilla, ARiv and rossp for the GPS data, keade for the colored/labeled map and Jamie Bogner for the Blue Mountain map I based this off of.

Way to go Bri! This map is cool. Can't wait to hear the official names of the trails cause I have heard so many. I hear 14-16 refered to as both the boy scout trail and the meadow but I believe the proper name is the meadow. There is a sign on the trail that explains it is the meadow trail restored by boy scout troop # something. I am usually too out of breath to read the sign. Then there is the new beginner trail that was also made by a boy scout.

I have also heard 21-22 refered to as "friend" and "the elevator".

No legal parking on Marble Ave. entrance unless you consider McDonalds legal. My buddy actually got busted by the cops for walking his bike across the Saw Mill at exit 27 there so be careful.

Thanks again!

Great job. How about marking the beginner trail as easier? I think lots of people who may need the map will be looking for that....
